The Ampol Little Origin initiative will see two New T South Wales schools live out their State of Origin dreams when they play on field at half time at Accor Stadium this Ampol State of Origin Series.
Local school Sacred Heart Primary Mount Druitt have been announced as lucky winners for Ampol Little Origin which will see 10 students don a Blues or Maroons jersey during Ampol State of Origin Game 3 when they take on fellow New South Wales School, Cessnock Public School.
In addition to their on-field opportunity, Sacred Heart Primary Mount Druitt will receive a $5,000 grant from Ampol going towards developing their Rugby League programs and educating students on the importance of health and wellbeing. Sacred Heart Primary Mount Druitt's Ampol Little Origin experience will also include an official NRL League Stars clinic hosted by Maroons and Broncos legend Sam Thaiday to help them prepare for their showdown.
"It's truly a great privilege for Ampol to be able to support grassroots rugby league and provide a once in a lifetime opportunity for our next generation of NRL stars. Our aim is to grow grassroots rugby league through creating memorable experiences such as Ampol Little Origin and help support schools through $50,000 in grants, which they can use to continue growing their programs and educating children on all aspects of the sport, including teamwork and mental health," said Ampol's Chief Brand Officer, Jenny O'Regan

Last Week, our students led us in a beautiful Easter liturgy that truly captured the essence of Holy Week. Through their reverent prayers, and meaningful reflections helped us pause and remember the significance of this sacred time. It was wonderful to see the respect, care, and understanding our students showed as they shared the story of Jesus’ journey. Their efforts created a calm and reflective atmosphere, reminding us all of the messages of love, sacrifice, and hope that Easter brings. We are so proud of our students for the way they represented our school community and brought the story of Holy Week to life so beautifully. ✝️💜

Our Primary Athletics Carnival was an absolute blast! 🏃♂️🎉 Students gave it their all across every event, showing incredible determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day. From sprints 🏃🏾🏃🏼♀️to novelty events, there were smiles, cheers and plenty of memorable moments. It was fantastic to see everyone supporting one another and getting into the spirit of the day. A huge congratulations 👏to all of our students for their effort and enthusiasm – you should be so proud! 700+ Unite for Project Compassion Big Water Walk
More than 700 students and staff from 23 schools across Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) came together for Caritas Australia’s Big Water Walk in support of Project Compassion. Beginning at Parramatta Park, students carried buckets of water along a 4km route, gaining a glimpse of the daily journey faced by people in developing communities, especially women and children, in search of clean water.

Last Thursday, our students showed incredible determination and resilience as they braved the elements to compete in our annual School Cross Country. 🌧️💪 Running either 2km or 3km (depending on their age), students tackled the course around the perimeter of the school with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. It was fantastic to see so many giving their best effort and encouraging one another along the way. We are proud to announce that 41 students have qualified to represent Sacred Heart at the Diocesan Cross Country next term.
