Wanderers Fun Day! ⚽🎉 Yesterday, a group of lucky students from Year 3 to Year 6 had the fantastic opportunity to participate in the Wanderers Fun Day! Throughout the day, students enjoyed a variety of exciting football activities as well as other fun games designed to keep everyone active and engaged. The fun didn’t stop there—lunchtime was a treat with a delicious sausage sizzle, and each student was thrilled to receive some special gifts to take home. A big thank you to the Wanderers for inviting us to be part of such a wonderful event. 🎉🔥 Happy Birthday to the Church! 🔥🎉 Today, our community gathered in unity and joy to celebrate Pentecost—the moment the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles, igniting the birth of the Church. Dressed in vibrant reds and surrounded by symbols of peace and fire we were reminded of the transformative power of the Spirit in our lives. From uplifting worship and heartfelt prayers the day was a beautiful testament to our shared faith and the enduring presence of the Holy Spirit among us. As we sang, prayed, and rejoiced together, we felt a renewed sense of purpose and connection. Let us carry this flame forward, spreading love, hope, and unity in our daily lives. Parramatta Diocesan Football Gala Day ⚽️ Today, our Stage 3 girls represented Sacred Heart with pride at the Parramatta Diocesan Football Gala Day held in Penrith. The girls played with great determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship across all their games. 👏💪 We are so proud of the way they supported one another, gave their best effort, and wore the Sacred Heart jersey with pride. Our Outreach for this term is supporting the ‘Vinnies’ Winter Sleepout. 💙 During June we will be collecting warm items such as NEW Blankets, Beanies, Scarves, Gloves and Socks for the vulnerable. 🧤🧣🧦 Children are invited to bring in these items for grade collection boxes. Sacred Heart will also put our Faith in Action by holding a Winter Sleepout on Friday 20th June for our Year 3 - 6 students between 5pm -10pm. A permission note will be shared on Compass this week.
