✨Today the Sacred Heart community came together to celebrate Catholic Schools Week with our Opening Mass. 🙏 It was a beautiful way to end this special week as we welcomed and blessed our new Kindergarten students and our new Principal, Mrs Anderiesz. The children sang beautifully and helped create a truly prayerful celebration. A heartfelt thank you to Fr Marcus and Deacon Rod for leading us in Mass, and to our families for joining in this special occasion.🙌 Afterwards, our playground was alive with cultural delights as families gathered to picnic together, sharing food, stories and community spirit. ⭐️Catholic Schools Week is a special time to celebrate everything that makes our community at Sacred Heart 💙 so wonderful. ⭐️ At Sacred Heart Primary School, we know that our school is great 💪because of the incredible people within it - especially our dedicated and caring teachers. 👩🏫 This week, we wanted to make sure our teachers felt just how appreciated 💕they are. As part of their writing task, ✍️our amazing Year 2 students created heartfelt thank you cards to give to teachers around the school. Through their writing, they expressed gratitude 🙏 for the support, encouragement and hard work that helps make our school such a positive and welcoming place. It was beautiful to see our students putting their learning into action in such a meaningful way - celebrating 🙌 those who guide, inspire and nurture 🌱 them each day. A big thank you to all of our staff for the job you do and for making our school truly great! 💙✨

Today our Kindergarten students were delighted to welcome Father Marcus for a very special visit. He introduced himself to our newest members of the Sacred Heart family and spent time getting to know their bright, eager faces. With guitar in hand, Father Marcus taught the children some beautiful songs that we will be singing together at our Mass on Friday. The room was filled with joyful voices, big smiles and lots of enthusiasm! 🏏 Sydney Thunder Cricket Gala Day 2026 🏏 Today our Stage 3 students had an amazing time participating in the Sydney Thunder Cricket Gala Day at Laybutt Reserve. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to refine their skills in bowling, batting and fielding while enjoying some friendly competition. Our students represented Sacred Heart proudly, demonstrating outstanding Teamwork, Enthusiasm and encouragement for others throughout the day. It was wonderful to see such positive sportsmanship on display!
