Water Walk Part 1 Today our students and staff took part in the Water Walk to raise awareness for people around the world who face daily challenges accessing clean water.💦 Our students walked 6km carrying a variety of water bottles, buckets and containers, experiencing just a small glimpse of the effort many people make every day to collect water for their families. 🙏 Throughout the walk, students showed incredible teamwork and compassion — walking in solidarity, sharing the load and even carrying each other’s water along the way.🤩 A special thank you to Bunnings Minchinbury for generously donating 100 buckets to support our walk. 🪣 Our youngest students proudly carried their mini Bunnings buckets throughout the challenge, while our Year 6 leaders stepped up to help share the load of the larger buckets. We are so proud of the resilience, empathy and leadership our students demonstrated today. 💙 #sacredheartmountdruitt #cspd #caritas #thewaterwalk #bunnings #bunningsminchinbury

Thank you to Father Rodi and the community of St Joseph Church for such a warm welcome. ✨Today the Sacred Heart community came together to celebrate Catholic Schools Week with our Opening Mass. 🙏 It was a beautiful way to end this special week as we welcomed and blessed our new Kindergarten students and our new Principal, Mrs Anderiesz. The children sang beautifully and helped create a truly prayerful celebration. A heartfelt thank you to Fr Marcus and Deacon Rod for leading us in Mass, and to our families for joining in this special occasion.🙌 Afterwards, our playground was alive with cultural delights as families gathered to picnic together, sharing food, stories and community spirit. ⭐️Catholic Schools Week is a special time to celebrate everything that makes our community at Sacred Heart 💙 so wonderful. ⭐️ At Sacred Heart Primary School, we know that our school is great 💪because of the incredible people within it - especially our dedicated and caring teachers. 👩🏫 This week, we wanted to make sure our teachers felt just how appreciated 💕they are. As part of their writing task, ✍️our amazing Year 2 students created heartfelt thank you cards to give to teachers around the school. Through their writing, they expressed gratitude 🙏 for the support, encouragement and hard work that helps make our school such a positive and welcoming place. It was beautiful to see our students putting their learning into action in such a meaningful way - celebrating 🙌 those who guide, inspire and nurture 🌱 them each day. A big thank you to all of our staff for the job you do and for making our school truly great! 💙✨
