Today our infants students took part in an exciting Living Safely with Pets presentation. The session focused on teaching students how to interact safely and respectfully with pets, helping to build positive and safe relationships with animals. The highlight of the day was meeting a very special helper — Joker the Bull Terrier! Joker helped demonstrate how to safely approach and interact with dogs, and the students loved learning from such a friendly and well-behaved pup. 🐶

Today was an exciting day for some of our Year 4 students as they received their band instruments for the very first time! There were lots of smiles, a little bit of noise, and a whole lot of enthusiasm as they began their journey into the world of music. A big thank you to Captivate for providing these wonderful music lessons to our students. 💙What an exciting day at Sacred Heart! 💙 The Western Sydney Wanderers ⚽️visited our Year 5 students to teach some fantastic soccer skills. 🥅The kids had a blast learning from the pros and showing off their footwork. 👣A big thank you to the Wanderers for inspiring our young players and making it a day to remember! ⭐️

The Diocesan Mass for Pope Francis will be held this Sunday, 27 April (the culmination of the Easter Octave) at the 11am Solemn Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Parramatta. All are warmly invited to attend, and we ask that you share this news with your parish, school, agency, or ministry networks. Bishop Vincent Long OFM Conv will celebrate the Mass, and all clergy are invited to concelebrate if your Parish Mass schedule allows. The Mass will also be livestreamed on St Patrick’s Cathedral YouTube channel: parracatholic.org/events/diocesan-mass-for-pope-francis/ For anyone wishing to write condolence messages, the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference is organising a condolence book to pass onto the Apostolic Nuncio to Australia, Archbishop Charles Balvo, who was appointed Nuncio by Pope Francis in 2022.
