The night was topped off with an outstanding Showcase Dance performance, with Sacred Heart taking home the win! 🏆✨ Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a memorable celebration. We are incredibly proud of all our students for their enthusiasm, confidence and wonderful spirit both on and off the dance floor. ❤️

🌿🦋 An Unforgettable Day of Discovery! 🪲🌱 What an incredible day our Year One students had on Friday at the Botanical Gardens, diving into the fascinating world of invertebrates! 🐛🕷️🐞 Our little explorers enjoyed a range of exciting, hands-on activities: 🔍 Bug Hunt Adventure – They searched for insects hiding under logs and within the leaf litter. 🍂 Creative Creations – Collected fallen sticks and leaves during our garden walk, then used clay to create their very own insects! 💧 Dip Netting Fun – Scooped and searched for water invertebrates in the ponds! And to top it all off… the excitement reached new heights when they caught a glimpse of the Harbour and the Harbour Bridge! 🌉✨ A huge thank you to our wonderful parent helpers – we couldn't have done it without you! Your support made the day run so smoothly. 💕👏 What a fantastic day to remember!

Yesterday, Mrs Anderiesz had the privilege of celebrating Holy Mass in honour of St John the Beloved, after being invited by some of our Sacred Heart students. It was a beautiful celebration of faith, bringing together children and young people from across our community in prayer and in their shared love for Christ. Following Mass, the children and young people of the parish shared their gifts through some wonderful performances. The Arabic School students presented traditional folkloric dances, Fersen Al Adra sang special hymns in honour of St John the Beloved and the SJB Teens performed a meaningful play reflecting on the life and vocation of our parish patron. ❤️ We would love to see our Sacred Heart families join in the celebrations! Our families are warmly invited to attend the St John the Beloved Family Festival on Sunday, 27 September. It is a wonderful opportunity for our Sacred Heart community to come together with our parish families to celebrate faith, culture, family and community. Mrs Anderiesz is looking forward to being there and hopes to see many familiar Sacred Heart faces joining in the festivities! May the intercession of St John the Beloved continue to guide and protect all our children and young people as they grow in faith and love for Christ. 🙏❤️
