Good afternoon parents, Firstly, thank you so much for your incredibly generous donations towards our snack packs for the homeless. Thanks to your support, we have been able to make approximately 345 snack packs so far! What an amazing achievement. We still have a large supply of snacks and poppers remaining, and we would love to make even more snack packs. However, we have now run out of tuna and Cup-a-Soup packets, which are essential items to complete each pack. If you are able to, we would greatly appreciate any additional donations of tuna and Cup-a-Soup packets. Your generosity will help us use the remaining items and create even more snack packs for those in need. Thank you again for your ongoing support and kindness. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference.

Kindergarten had an awesome time on their very first excursion to Sydney Zoo! 🐯🐒🦍🐍🦁🐘🐨🦘🦛 It was a fun-filled day of learning and discovery as students participated in an engaging educational lesson about living things before exploring the many amazing animals throughout the zoo. Our students immersed themselves in every aspect of the day, asking questions, sharing their knowledge, and embracing new experiences. There were plenty of favourite animals, with the tigers, elephants and penguins proving to be the biggest hits! 💚💛World Cup Party at Sacred Heart💚💛 On Friday 26 June, Sacred Heart will be hosting our very own World Cup Party to celebrate the #Socceroos as they take on Paraguay! Students and staff are invited to wear their best green and gold outfit in exchange for a gold coin donation as we come together to cheer on Australia in their clash against Paraguay. Students will enjoy watching the game on the big screen in the Hall, along with popcorn, half-time entertainment and plenty of school spirit. It's set to be a fantastic day of fun, excitement and community as we get behind the #Socceroos! 💚💛Go Australia💚💛

🙏Today our school community came together to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart, and what a wonderful day it was! The day began with our Stage 3 students taking on the teachers in a highly anticipated schoolyard handball competition. The rivalry was fierce, but with the enthusiastic support of their cheerleaders 📣, the students claimed victory! We were delighted to welcome parents into our open classrooms, giving them the opportunity to see the incredible learning that takes place every day at our school. Our celebrations continued with a beautiful Mass, during which a number of students received Sacred Heart Awards. These special awards recognise children who consistently live out the Gospel values through their words, actions, and care for others. Following Mass, our talented Year 6 Band students treated us to a wonderful performance, showcasing their hard work and musical skills. The day concluded with a family picnic, providing a lovely opportunity for families to gather and enjoy time together. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us today, especially Fr Marcus, Deacon Rod, and all of our families. Our Year 6 students participated in an engaging 2-hour Voice of Youth Public Speaking workshop, designed to build confidence and communication skills. The students enjoyed exploring the importance of composure, delivering a strong message, connecting with their voice, and becoming authentic, engaging speakers. They enthusiastically took part in activities that challenged them to step outside their comfort zones and develop the skills needed to captivate an audience. A special thank you to Mr Martin from the CSPD CAPTIVATE team for sharing his insight, expertise, and enthusiasm with our students. Kindergarten have loved learning all about data this week! 📊✨ Students completed surveys on their: ✨ favourite fruit ✨ favourite zoo animal ✨ favourite colour To finish off their learning, students recorded and analysed data from their skittles bags. The best part of all was enjoying the yummy treat at the end of the lesson! 🌈🍬

❄️🧤Vinnies Winter Appeal Snack Packs 🧤❄️ This term, our school is proudly supporting the Vinnies Winter Appeal by creating snack packs for those in our community who may be doing it tough during the colder months. We are asking each grade to contribute specific items to help us put together these snack packs. Please refer to your child’s donation list to see which items have been allocated to your child's grade. All donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated and will help make a difference to someone in need this winter.
